Welcome to Shaw Guitars. Each guitar I make is painstakingly handcrafted: synthesizing each individual design from a unique choice of beautiful exotic woods, customized electronics, and the best available hardware to produce a work of art that sounds as exotic as it looks. The first time you pick up a Shaw Guitar is like meeting an old friend, comfortable and familiar. But, like an old friend you've not seen for a while there are always new things to discover.
Obviously you're not here because you're interested in an electric guitar that is made by automata, or a manufacturer whose best instruments were designed and produced decades ago. Maybe you're looking for a electric guitar that melds the timelessness of those designs with an old-school attention to detail and a fresh look at new technologies and components yet in which form follows function. And when the form is as simply gorgeous as a Shaw Guitar, the function should be obvious. Beautiful instruments make beautiful music...get your fingers on one!

Bryan White’s Okie Thinline
Here are a few pictures of the Thinline made for Bryan White. It is an all Maple body with a thin Black Walnut pin stripe on the sides. The neck is laminated Flamed Maple. Here are a few pics showing the early progress. I will be posting more on this guitar later. Rick
